Tuesday: Discuss the polarity of water and do the Pre-lab for the Properties of Water Lab

HW: Read through the lab so you are prepared, TRG due Thursday

Wednesday: Properties of Water Lab

HW: TRG is due tomorrow

Thursday: Complete the lab handout; Standard Error google form

HW: Complete the google form if you don’t finish in class

Friday: Begin discussing the origins of life

HW: Origins of Life TRG is due Tuesday

Meet The Teacher 2025 – AP Biology

My name is Staci Henderson, and I’m so happy to be your AP Biology teacher this year. This is my 23rd year of teaching, and my 10th year here at White Oak High School. I love teaching Biology and AP Biology, there are so many things you will learn this year to help you understand the living world around you.  Our AP Bio Test is Monday, May 4th, at 8 AM this year. We will work really hard together to get ready for it!  I hope your senior year is a great one.

In AP Biology, you will need the following supplies:

1. Binder and folder to keep notes and handouts.
2. Corded Headphones (to be used for school work, can be used for other classes too)
3. Pencils or Pens
4. Chromebook (school-issued)
5. Optional: Graphing or scientific calculator

Bring your completed summer assignment with you on the first day of school!

Classroom supply: 

Please donate a couple rolls of paper towels and/or a box of disposable gloves.

School begins Wednesday, August 13th.

Summer assignment 2025-2026

I passed out the Summer Assignment to most students this week. My One Act students will get it this Friday.  Here is the information and summer assignment in case anyone loses their paper copy! You can print it out if needed. (library is open in the summer)
