Our test over Biomolecules and Enzymes will be Tuesday and Wednesday of next week!

This week we will continue learning about Biomolecules, including enzymes.

Monday: Protein structure discussion and complete the google slides assignment we started last Thursday

This week we will begin our unit on Organic Compounds. We will focus on carbohydrates, lipids, and begin proteins this week.

This week we will take our first test over the Intro to Biology, Water, and Origins of Life Topic Review Guides.

HW: Multiple choice test is Wednesday and FRQ is Thursday. Study and prepare!

AP Biology Aug. 21-25

This week we will continue practicing statistics and we will discuss the properties of water.

For those that plan ahead, we will have our first test on Wednesday/Thursday, Aug. 30 and 31st. One day for multiple choice and one day for our free response.

Monday: Discuss the polarity of water; Properties of Water Pre-lab

HW: Complete the pre-lab questions

Tuesday: Properties of Water Lab and begin calculations

Wednesday: Discuss CER, Complete the calculations and lab analysis

HW: Finish the lab if you don’t finish in class; Origins of Life TRG is due on Monday

Thursday: Discuss the Origins of Life through prokaryotes
